Where to go in Addis, from people who just went.

Cafés with outlets, kitfo that’s still open, the LRT stop you need. Every spot was added by someone standing in it, and it goes quiet when nobody has been back in 90 days.

Free. No account to look around. Amharic and English.

How the app looks

A spot has to keep earning its place.

  1. Someone adds it

A pin, a name, a photo and a landmark, like “behind Edna Mall”. It shows up as New.

  2. Two other people confirm it

Only from within 300 metres of the spot. Then it’s Verified.

  3. It gets asked again

Every 90 days: “Still here?” No answers and it sinks. Two “closed” reports and it’s marked closed.

300 ቦታ

Before anyone else adds a thing, Anwar Misbah is photographing and checking 300 spots across Addis himself. Each square fills in the day one goes live.

0 of 300 done

100 of 100 Founding Spotter badges left. Add your first spot to claim one. It stays on your name for good.
